Cash and prizes worth $1,200 in total are up for grabs in the WPYW National Day Writing Competition 2011!
In conjunction with the National Day celebrations, the competition aims to promote creative writing and enhance the sense of being a Singaporean amongst our youths.
The competition consists of an Essay category and a Poetry category. You can take part in one or both categories.
From 18 July to 10 August 2011, simply submit an essay/poem that you think best examplifies the topic “What Does Being a Singaporean Mean to Me?”
This competition is open to all Singaporeans aged between 13 and 30 years. Winners will be determined by a panel of esteemed judges and number of “Likes” on the WPYW Facebook.
